When she was a young woman she lived in Butuan
the mother of Juana was a daughter of Portuguese sailor who came to Butuan when his father from the Roca family sailed from Acapulco Mexico during the Galleon trade enterprize of King Philip II family on lucrative business of gold and spices in Malacca and Manila
until finally he reached Butuan and Ubay to search find the source of gold and spices

the father of Juana was a Portuguese sailor of the Roca family who lived in Sangley Point Cavite they were employed as ship builders of Galleon Ships

In Butuan his father married a beautiful manobo woman . His marriage to the manobo woman had qualified him as the adopted sons of the Manobo tribe.
To support his claim as one of he Peninsulares of the Spanish Audencia government . Peninsulares means Spanish and Portuguese residents of the Islas FilipinasHis family were devoted to the Catholic Church .. in the Parish Order and the Jesuits Order.
